Correct Answer: B. This is a frequent exam question precisely because alphabetical storage seems reasonable. It isn't. Alphabetical order routinely places incompatible materials side by side — acids next to bases, oxidizers next to flammables — so chemicals are segregated by compatibility group instead. Storage areas must also be properly ventilated and well lit. The fume hood is a work space, not storage: stored containers disrupt airflow and reduce its effectiveness. And the sample refrigerator is for samples only, never for chemicals or food.

Both. Lab methods cross both certifications — the same glassware, pipets, QA/QC, chlorine, and DO procedures apply on either side. The guide cites 40 CFR 136 for wastewater and 40 CFR 141 for drinking water where the two differ.
Do I need lab experience to use it?
